Key points:

Voting stations open: 8am to 5pm on both days
Purpose:
- New voters can register
- Existing voters can verify and update their details
First round results:
- Held November 18-19, 2023
- 26.8 million voters registered
- 568,374 new registrations
Eligibility:
- South African citizens aged 16 or older
- Possess a valid South African ID or temporary ID certificate
Registration abroad:
- 120 South African missions available January 26-28
