Joslin was left under the care if the mother’s boyfriend as she was not feeling well. However, after her mother returned home, Joslin was nowhere to be found. The South African police have taken in 4 suspects on, March 7th, believing they are in connection with the disappearance of the six-year-old. Among the four is the girl’s m

other, Racquel Chantel “Kelly” Smith, and her boyfriend, Jacquin “Boeta” Appollis. The four individuals are facing charges of human trafficking and abduction. They have been formally accused, and each of the four has submitted requests for legal assistance.

Following a confession, a person of interest was arrested. According to police reports, the suspect allegedly admitted that Joshlin was sold to a woman for approximately R20,000. On Saturday, investigators discovered clothing stained with blood in an open field within the vicinity where Joslin went missing on February 19th. Community members joined for help and searched sewers and pits in the days following the girl’s disappearance. The investigation is ongoing, and police are committed to finding Joslin. Her two siblings have been placed in the care of social workers.

“I must have the strength to find her.”

During the court appearance, Kelly appeared emotionless. Despite her previous claims that she cries herself to sleep every night, she seemed “cold as ice” as described. She has been criticised for showing little to no emotion for her missing child. When asked by Gayton, Patriotic Alliance leader, why she never publicly cried over Joslin’s disappearance, Kelly responded: “I must have the strength to find her.”
