Newcastle Ball Boy Denies Kudus’ West Ham Celebration Request

Mohammed Kudus requested to use the Newcastle ball boy’s stool for his celebration after scoring a goal for West Ham, but the boy declined the cheeky request.
Kudus scored for the Hammers just before half-time at St James’ Park during the Premier League match. Immediately after scoring, Kudus gestured towards the ball boy, hoping to use his stool for his celebration.
However, the Magpies’ ball boy declined to assist in the Hammers’ celebration, as they were behind in the game, prompting Kudus to sit on the pitchside advertising board instead.
Controversy also arose regarding the goal, despite West Ham being awarded a free-kick shortly before. Fabian Schar was hit in the face, yet West Ham quickly took the free-kick, allowing Jarrod Bowen to exploit the gap in the Newcastle defense before Schar could receive medical attention.
Eddie Howe showed frustration on the sidelines as West Ham celebrated, but VAR was unable to intervene following the incident.
The visitors enjoyed a fine day at St James’ Park, rallying after Alexander Isak’s early opener from the penalty spot, following Vladimir Coufal’s foul on Anthony Gordon.
But Michail Antonio equalised before Kudus’ goal on the stroke of half-time.
And Bowen, after impressing for England earlier in the week, hit a third shortly after the restart to the delight of manager David Moyes.
