Their packed schedule begins with a challenging league encounter against Sekhukhune United at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Tuesday evening. Despite Sundowns’ dominant position in the league standings, Sekhukhune pose a formidable challenge, having maintained an unbeaten streak this year and sitting just one point away from third place.
With an eye on managing player fatigue amid the busy fixture list, Sundowns might opt to rest key players for Tuesday’s match, potentially leveling the playing field for Sekhukhune.
