Pam Golding Properties, the renowned South African real estate group, has announced the opening of its new office in Paris, marking a significant expansion beyond its 300 global locations. Situated in the heart of the 7th arrondissement, one of the most prestigious districts of the French capital, the new office places Pam Golding Properties at the epicenter of luxury living in Paris.

This exclusive area is home to iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, gourmet restaurants, high-end fashion boutiques, and a myriad of museums and monuments. The cobblestone streets, tree-lined avenues, and proximity to the River Seine further enhance its appeal as one of the city’s most sought-after neighborhoods.

The group acquired the established real estate business Cassil Immobilier, located at 78 rue de Sèvres, and has rebranded the office as Pam Golding Properties Paris. Speaking on the expansion, CEO Dr. Andrew Golding emphasized the prime location of the new office:

“This is a prime property district of Paris, just a stone’s throw from St Germain des Prés, where luxury boutiques, iconic department stores like Le Bon Marché, renowned hotels, and beautifully-crafted Haussmann buildings are located,” said Golding. “Paris has universal appeal, and now, South Africans can transact with us in this major European city under a trusted brand.”

Golding noted that the group’s focus in Paris will be on the high-end market, particularly family apartments. However, they will also cater to investors and students by offering smaller apartments and studios. Property prices in the 7th arrondissement range from €12,000 to €16,000 per square meter, significantly higher than the city’s average of €9,500 per sqm.

Paris, which has no restrictions on foreign property ownership, makes it easier for international buyers to invest, requiring only a French bank account and a valid ID.

The Paris operation is headed by Séverin Brunelle, a managing director with over 25 years of experience in real estate across France and Canada. Brunelle highlighted the city’s enduring allure: “Paris is unmatched for its history, architecture, parks, and quality of life. As the city cannot expand in terms of housing, the supply will always be limited in one of the world’s most beautiful cities.”

Pam Golding Properties expects significant interest from international buyers, given their strong database of global clients and their association with Savills, a leading international real estate network. This expansion into Paris marks another step in Pam Golding Properties’ mission to provide premium real estate services to a global clientele, and further solidifies their presence in the international luxury property market.

As the “City of Lights” continues to captivate buyers from around the world, Pam Golding Properties is poised to be a trusted partner for those looking to invest in one of the most sought-after real estate markets on the planet.
