Taxi Passenger Dies After Getting Stuck in Snow in KZN

The sequence of events commenced on a Friday and spilled into Saturday when a taxi, transporting passengers from Johannesburg to KwaZulu-Natal, found itself stranded in the snow. Roland Robertson, the spokesperson for Midlands EMS, recounted the tragic turn of events. He revealed that the taxi had to make an impromptu stop at the Merrivale shopping center due to the harsh weather. It was at this stop that a passenger succumbed to the extreme cold, collapsing from severe exposure.
