Vanessa Hudgens is about to enjoy the start of something new – motherhood! The High School Musical star announced the happy news by revealing her baby bump on the red carpet of the 2024 Oscars.
While she played it cool on the show, rocking a tight black gown with long sleeves, a flowy train, and a high neck, she turned up the heat for the Vanity Fair after-party. Yep, her baby bump was front and center, and even though she’s staying tight-lipped about the deets (except for that cheeky Insta pic), chances are she’s pretty far along.

Hudgens – who is expecting her first baby with baseball player Cole Tucker – changed into a flowy and sheer black gown. Celebs and fans are over the moon for the first-time mom who got hitched to Tucker just last year.
After Months Of Rumours
The singer spilled the beans around five months after shutting down pregnancy gossip. Back in October 2023, she dropped an Instagram reel from her bachelorette bash, setting off a flurry of speculation.
“Why does she look pregnant to me or like she’s trying to hide a bump,” one person asked, and it just kept going. “Because we have eyes!” “I thought the same thing! She’s glowing!!! I’m so happy for her”. However, Hudgens was quick to shoot that theory down. “Not pregnant so y’all can stop,” she responded in the comments.
No doubt, Hudgens will bring some of her “aunt” expertise to her new role as a mom. In case you missed it: The “Sneaker Night” crooner holds the honorary aunt title for Ashley Tisdale’s daughter, Jupiter, from their High School Musical days. Back in April 2021, Hudgens expressed her eagerness to meet Jupiter, who was born the month before. Tisdale and her hubby, Christopher French, were playing it safe due to the pandemic, holding off on visitors until their baby’s immune system was more robust.
The actor added some flair to the all-in-one Vera Wang Couture outfit with Chopard bling, rocking a diamond necklace that nestled just below her turtleneck and some dangling diamond earrings. Even though her boyfriend, baseball player Cole Tucker, wasn’t with her on the carpet, the “High School Musical” star made sure to keep him in the mix by complementing her Chopard gems with her sizable seven-carat diamond engagement ring.
