As autumn arrives, flu season is coming soon. To stay healthy and avoid getting sick, it’s important to have a strong immune system.
There are lots of pills and medicines you can take to make your immune system stronger, but you can also do things naturally to help your body fight off sickness. Here are some natural ways to boost your immune system:
Consume nutritious foods to support your immune system.
Eating a mix of fruits, veggies, whole grains, and lean proteins gives your body the nutrients it needs to work well and boost your immune system. Foods high in vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc, and antioxidants are particularly helpful for strengthening immunity.

Get enough rest.
Getting enough sleep is super important for your overall health and keeping your immune system strong.
Try to get 7-9 hours of good sleep every night to give your body time to rest and recharge. Lack of sleep can weaken your immune system response.

Stay hydrated.
Drinking lots of water helps your body get rid of toxins and keeps your immune system working well. If you don’t drink enough, it can make your immune system weaker, so aim for at least eight glasses of water a day.
